GETTING VITAMINS FROM WATER

Vitamins are organic compounds found in living things and minerals are pure inorganic elements. We get vitamins and minerals mainly from food we eat and not from the water we drink. Some examples of minerals are Calcium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium, Chloride, Magnesium, Sulphur, Iron, Iodine, Zinc, Chromium, Selenium, Fluoride, Molybdenum, Copper, Lead and Manganese

Calcium for example is a mineral which is essential for healthy bones and teeth, we get Calcium mainly from milk products. Potassium is another essential mineral which helps to keep our blood pressure low, we can get Potassium from fruits such as bananas and avocados.

Minerals such as Lead and Mercury on the other hand are toxic minerals which are used in manufacturing plants. They are known to cause chronic poisoning, kidney failure and other cancer. Unfortunately, they can be found in drinking water now due to improper disposal and leakage from industries wastes. Proper water filtration system must be used to filter drinking water before safe consumption.

We recommend drinking pure clean water rather then “mineral” or “vitamin” water because we normally don’t know what are the contents in our water.

Our Reverse Osmosis system removes Lead and Mercury from drinking water.
